MSC Cyberfair Entry 2005
Written by admin on May 20, 2009 – 11:47 am -Festivals of Laguna, Philippines
http://msc.edu.ph/cyberfair_2005/
As Tourism takes new trends, new themes, new concepts which now focuses at culture, heritage and the arts, the festivals in our community can give our people more business opportunities. The festivals aim to develop a tourist-friendly society and for our balikbayans to be proud of their hometowns.
Nowadays, there sprout another kind of diversion that lures people- festivals. While not really new since there are festivals already held in different parts of the archipelago, these festivals has sprouted in the province of Laguna. While most of them are held in celebration of a municipality’s town fiesta (feast of the patron saint), some are them are held to promote the town’s products.

MSC Cyberfair Entry 2004
Written by admin on May 20, 2009 – 11:24 am -Sampalok Lake… Paradise Lost… Paradise Reborn.
http://msc.edu.ph/cyberfair_2004/index.html
A popular spot for locals and tourists alike, it is the best place to unwind and have fun. But San Pablo’s pride and joy suffered a near death experience, and this was what motivated the people to finally see the light and work as one.
San Pablo City is in Laguna province. It is about 80 kilometers south of Manila, the capital of the Philippines. Its land is largely agricultural, with rice fields and coconut farms as well as orchards. The City of Seven Lakes, as it is fondly called, boasts of being the only city blessed with seven lakes plus breath-taking views of nature.
With a total land area of 21,400 hectares, a great portion of which is distributed to 80 Barrios and forested areas, our community is populated by an estimated 207,927 people (Census 2000). Progress and modernization have turned the City proper into a trade and merchandise center, the city serving as a center of travelers from the provinces of Quezon and Batangas to the provinces of Bicol region.

MSC Cyberfair Entry 2003
Written by admin on May 20, 2009 – 9:50 am -PASALUBONG
from the City of San Pablo
http://msc.edu.ph/cyberfair_entry_03/
This project research was conducted with the end view of giving our local specialties a bright perspective in the business ventures of the new millennium for the local producers in the City of San Pablo. We aim to explore local products produced from coconut materials and local delicacies now gaining popularity as “pasalubong” like buko pies, macapuno sweets, and locally-made candies. We aim to investigate new eating trends to promote our fish-based dishes in world recipes for healthy considerations. We aim to open awareness that we have toy manufactures here now exporting to other countries. Data were gathered to provide information on the present status of our local specialties. Results of study serve as guidelines; develop interest and curiosity among researchers. Problems were studied to suggest solution to further strengthen and develop local specialty business. The page will give a comprehensive report of our contest entry in relation to its importance economically and socially to the people of San Pablo and the progress of our community.

Written by admin on May 20, 2009 – 8:40 am -San Pablo City (City of Seven Lakes) … Streets and Historical Landmarks
http://msc.edu.ph/cyberfair_entry/
Aside from being rich with nature’s land and water forms, San Pablo City is also rich with legends and common folk stories that tell how places got their names and how they came about. Some streets within the city are named after local heroes and leaders to educate people about the city’s rich history. There are also several old buildings which have stories of their own. This project describes these stories and also about landmarks like churches and old houses.
